week 7 b Website audit
What content do I have:
The content that I have come from the township of lower providence This sight is full of information including town meeting minutes to school board information to things happening in the community. This sight is hard to follow there are a lot of links and you do not always know where to go with them some links take you to the same place. This content come from people in charge of the township and other people who have a large role in it.
How is it and will it be organized:
I think that there needs to be less busyness on the first home page. There needs to be better grouping and less catagories right up front. I think that the best way to organize it would be to group the broud catagoris on the home page and them have them take you to additional links on other pages.
Who do you think creates it:
I think that a secretary from the township or so sort of webmaster is in charge of updating the content each time there is a meeting but also people at the township building are in charge of arranging the content.
Where does it live:
This website has many outside links so some of it lives on other site and some of it lives with in the community cause the content is specific to them and no one else.

Week 7 in class
In class we went over our websites that we chose most of the class including me chose websites that were to little information or were just poorly designed not necessarily organized.
For my project i choice to re navigate my townships website. The website had a lot of information and was hard to follow and understand. There are alot of kinks that link you to somewhere else.

week 6 out of class
The first website that i found that was poorly designed was this one. In order to find where you wanted to go there were a lot of clicks that had to take place. It was just not that it was hard to navigate it was also not very visually appealing. The website might be hard to reorganize because it has so much information because its all about buying and selling houses.
Another site that i found i believe was poorly designed because their is no visual hierarchy and it is not lay ed out for a customer to be able to follow it. Its also boring the pictures are the same on each page and im not even sure what the sight is for.
This is a local restaurant that is in the area and it is not a large website but it is not deigned well it has a very distracted back ground. The typography is not well chosen and i believe that there is a better way or them to arrange all of this information. It is not hard to navigate but it is just lacking in content. the one page that has dinner looks like a picture of the menu and the other one were typed out and it is was not consistent.

Week 6 In class
This was our final presentation to the class. We got some good feed back from the group just some small things they enjoyed our type face we choice and they liked the color scheme. They did not think that the lightest green is easy on the eyes. They suggested if the background was a little bit lighter it wouldn't be as difficult to see. they said that the typeface we used worked well easy to see. One comment someone made was that the spacing for our mapping was off this was disappointing to me because i was the one who worked on that and i thought that i did a thorough job.Heather and I presented to our group and we talked about our process and outcome of our design referring to the mapping we also talked about our choice in color scheme and typefaces then we talked about our research and how we talked to different players and interviewed them and also watched baseball clips and looked up basic rules on the computer.
