Week one b During class

We worked on getting to know each other at the beginning of class then we worked on coming up with a list of words that descried the game of baseball without looking up anything on the internet. We came up with a long list of words about the game  the materials the uniforms where and when the game is played. We put this on out word press baseballed.wordpress.com  Then we were asked to play the game on the computer to get us more familiar with the game. This helped cause it reminded me about how there is a strike zone and when the ball is within that zone it is considered a strike. This help me get a better understanding because it reminded me that the strike zone will change per person. The umpire has a lot to do with the call of wether or not it is a ball or strike.

Week one a out of class

Our assignment out of class was to fill out our student contracts order our books on line and to read the online article. The article was about user experience and the difference between usability. At the end of the article there was a bulls eye shaped diagram about utility usability desirability and user experience. They talk about how in the center of the diagram its how the individual feels about whether or not the program worked for them all the way out to the overall experience and how the brand portrayed themselves. It was very interesting to learn about how a product can work for a specific person but how the entire experience may be different.
